I’m proud of the movement we’ve started, with more than 200 people digging deep to make a contribution in the first three weeks of the campaign.
We have a little less than four months before ballots are mailed out. With more than two thirds of votes expected to be cast by mail, we need to get rolling.
Grassroots campaigns are incredibly effective, but they don’t come cheap. We have flyers to mail, events to plan, volunteers to feed — and yes, a few lawn signs to print.
If you didn’t have a chance to make a contribution before the Dec. 31st deadline, you can still make an early impact on this election by stepping up today.
I’m excited by the opportunity we have to bring a more creative and inclusive style of leadership to City Hall. But first, we need to win. And we’re going to win. Together.
