Rain or shine

We hope you’re enjoying the rainy weather as much as we are. Not only is it helping to restore our water supply after years of drought, it also makes for productive precinct walking. After all, folks are usually home, and they appreciate the dedication of a campaign that’s not afraid of a little water in the sky.

We knew coming into this race that weather would be a factor given the El Niño predictions. But we also knew this election would be won on the ground, and our prediction is being proven correct with every door we knock. Our message of building a safer and more affordable San José is resonating across District 6 — and now it’s time to take it up a notch!

Will you sign up today to help us reach out to voters?

Personal contact is the single most effective way to ensure we have the votes we need to be successful in the June 7th primary and beyond. That’s why we’ll be knocking doors and making calls to voters every day from here on out.

We especially need help walking precincts every Saturday and Sunday. Shifts start at 10am and 1pm. We’ll make sure you’re well fed and have all the tools you need to be successful. And if you have a smartphone, you can use a mobile app instead of lugging around a clipboard and paper list!

If walking just isn’t your thing, let us know if you’d like to make phone calls to voters from the comfort of your home. We’ll be ramping up our “virtual” phone bank soon.

Please sign up to volunteer today, and someone from our team will follow up to get you on the schedule.

Thank you in advance for helping us win.
